AXA Philippines, one of the leading insurers in the country, disclosed that its bancassurance sales — insurance and financial products sold through partners Metrobank and PSBank — bounced back to the number one slot, dominating the industry with Php20.9* billion in total premium income in 2018, according to the rankings issued by the Insurance Commission. This reflects a significant growth rate of 9% from the past year.
AXA attributes this phenomenal 2018 turnaround to the consistent and improved performance of its bancassurance distribution channel, where AXA’s Advisory Corners can now be seen in all 707 Metrobank and 250 PSBank branches nationwide with a little over 1,000 financial executives.
“Our strengthened bancassurance partnerships with Metrobank and PSBank have proven to be a rewarding one,” said AXA Philippines president and CEO Rahul Hora. “This has not only benefited our sales performance but has allowed us to reach more people and empower them to live better lives.”
